A Study on meaning of School Health Education through a observation of daily-life behavior of school children

Abstract
In order to grasp the daily health behavior off school children after school and the role of home and community on it, this study was planned so as to collect information concerning personal hygiene, nutrition and eating habits, safety and public morality, etc, from 5th and 3rd classes of 2332 school children located at various areas city out skirts of city and rural and islands, and done during the Period of May to June, 1967. The results obtained are as follows
1. Most of respondents (76.0%) plays outside home or on street after school and 53.3% of them plays game such as to move so actively that exposed to traffic hazards.
2. Basic personal hygiene such as washing hands after play or before taking food is not well practiced. Speciate consideration and supervision at home on this point should be emphasized.
3. 45.3% of school children are recognized themselves having unbalanced food habits.
